The first character is the victim who receives the most amount of screen time in the opening scene. This is played by Freddie Hunter, whose aim is to portray an average young adult who was completing their daily routine at home when they notice strange things about their house/surroundings.
The second and only other character shown in our production is the killer. He will be played by Jake Afford who is another member of my group. He will be wearing all black clothing with the addition of a hat and some gloves used as a mask to cover his identity. This will be used to add a fear factor to the opening and to scare the audience.
In the opening scene, the victim of the crime, played by Freddy Hunter will be wearing casual 'every day' clothing as if he has just arrived home. This will be used to create a sense of naturalism and in time create more suspense when he comes into danger. By contrast the killer, who is played by Jake Afford, wears black clothing to portray a sense of evil and darkness.
